New Map Application Released

Bob Clarke, member of InventVermont, releases his first product, a feature rich, low cost map application for websites. The software product is marketed to website developers who need a customized map solution without the expense of hiring a consultant.

Bob discovered that product development can be overwhelming at times, especially when working solo on a project where two problems are created for every solution in the process. With diligence and the support of people around him, Bob carried this product through completion including all supporting business infrastructure to market, sell, distribute, manage, license, document, and configure the product.

Bob notes that the encouragement and support from fellow InventVermont members and presentations by experts in their field helped him push through the challenges faced in developing the first product. "InventVermont was instrumental in helping me stay focused on a mountain of a project. I learned a great deal from others, their real-life stories have details that one cannot get from a book or a website. InventVermont helped me expand, open up, and think outside the closet. Got it done!" Bob is now working on the sales and marketing of this product and has more projects in the pipe including other map products, and a web-based interface for SCADA systems.
