Pricing Your Product for Profit
Inventors and entrepreneurs negotiating the first few deals for their products often feel they are in a vulnerable position. Typically, they need cash and are concerned about scaring away the buyer with a price that is too high.
This discussion will de-mystify the art and the science of pricing early stage products and services, using a wide range of examples from both high tech and low tech companies. Pricing decisions will be examined from both the buyer’s and the seller’s perspective. There will be an emphasis on quantitative analysis to guide pricing judgment calls. Methods for building in flexibility for future will be presented as well. Attendees who would like to have their situations analyzed will be invited to participate.
