Dana B. Eidsness
Director of International Trade
Vermont Global Trade Partnership
Dana Eidsness is the Director of International Trade for the State of Vermont and is also responsible for managing the Vermont Global Trade Partnership, a network of international trade development resources in the state of Vermont. Before moving to Vermont in 2005, she was Director of the Lewiston-Auburn Regional Office of the Maine International Trade Center.
Previously, she worked for the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), a program of the U.S. Department of Commerce and National Institute of Standards and Technology and earlier in her career held positions in a variety of private industries specializing in marketing and international purchasing. She holds a B.A. in International Studies, with a minor in International Business and emphasis on Chinese language and culture from Dominican University of San Rafael, California. Ms. Eidsness also completed 2 years of study at World College West (now Presidio World College in San Francisco) in their International Service and Development Program.
The Vermont Global Trade Partnership is Vermont's one-stop shop for international business assistance. Formed in 2004, the Partnership provides technical assistance and trade counseling, import and export leads, educational programs, coordinated Trade Missions and trade shows, and many other useful services to Vermont companies seeking to succeed in international markets.
