Becoming a Sophisticated Inventor

This talk will focus on how to become a sophisticated inventor. Over the last 20 years John Cronin has taught and trained 1000's of inventors. More recently he has worked with inventors to show them how they can systematically build intellectual property portfolio's. He has developed a technique called ipMorphing©. This technique involves taking the basic invention and building on it over time. To succeed at this, the inventor must understand the concepts of supply chain, timing and morphing. John will introduced and explain these concepts. Furthermore the statutory types of inventions (article of manufacture, composition of matter, systems, structures, apparatus, method of making, method of using, method of operating, business models, business methods and business systems) are misunderstood, once again reducing the sophistication of the inventor. John will elaborate on these as well.

By properly implementing the strategies outlined in this talk, the independent inventor can build a sophisticated intellectual property portfolio around a single invention and utilize it to facilitate a more sophisticated business deal. The talk will also focus on how to use these techniques to find money for investment, licensing, for exchange of capital positions, securitization, and raising debt or equity.
