Invention on Demand: an Interactive Problem Solving Session
John will educate us on the principles behind "Invention on Demand" and conduct an interactive problem solving session with our members during the meeting.
Invention on Demand®(IOD®) identifies problems and resources that accelerate and direct new invention by using creativity strategies. Typically, many potential inventions are created that have possible technical operability. There are variations, for instance ipInvent
Around® session is a process that helps you conduct a due diligence review or find ways to technically get around patents belonging to others, ipMorphingSM session is designed to assist the out-licensing process for your technologies. This session uses creativity techniques to determine how a licensee or acquiring company would use your patent in its product/service. New inventions that will make your patent more valuable to such companies may be identified, ipProjectionSM process is used to give you a competitive advantage by inventing on top of a competitor's, customer's, or supplier's technology. By improving your competitor's technologies in a unique way, your company can strategically patent or publish in those areas, to ensure your share of a specific market space. This process uses a technique for projecting a competitor's patenting trend, identifying its direction, and applying creative techniques to get there first.
The benefit is to create inventions in a given technology or product area, in order to strengthen existing inventions and provide new invention direction.
