Ken Bloemer, Ph.D.
Ken is currently the Executive Director of Planet Eureka!, a Global Innovation Marketplace that is the next evolution in Technology Transfer and Commercialization. Planet Eureka! is a division of Eureka! Ranch International LTD, of Cincinnati, Ohio (founded and led by entrepreneurial guru and best selling author, Doug Hall www.eurekaranch.com). The purpose of the Ranch is to use scientific methods to help business leaders find, filter and fast track innovations. Traditional Ranch clients are a "who's who" of Fortune 100 companies and we are now broadening our focus to include smaller enterprises who statistically are much better at technology development and commercialization. Ken's current role is to re-engineer the process of technology transfer from universities, federal labs. companies and independent inventors worldwide. He has a broad diversity of experience in Fortune 100 (Johnson & Johnson), business development and process improvement consulting (TechSolve), academia (University of Cincinnati), government (US Air Force) and his true passion - inventing (founder and managing partner of Bloemer, Meiser and Westerkamp, LLC). Ken is also a sought after speaker on the topics of innovation and technology commercialization. He holds a Bachelors and Masters in Industrial Engineering from the University of Louisville and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
