Mark Blanchard is the VtSBDC statewide business advisor for technology-based businesses and businesses which may participate in the federal SBIR program. He also does general business counseling in the Windsor/Orange County area of the State. Prior to joining VtSBDC in 2003, Mark owned or was a senior member of a number of small businesses in the Upper Valley, some of which were technology-based firms in which Intellectual Property issues were important. Earlier, he held marketing and general management positions overseas in an American oil company followed by moving to the Upper Valley and being VP Finance and Administration for a manufacturer of plasma metal cutting and welding equipment. He graduated from Dartmouth and got a Tuck MBA after serving as an Engineering Officer in the US Navy.
