Morgan is a practicing patent attorney with more than seven years of
experience handling patent and other intellectual property matters. Morgan has a
diverse technical background that he draws upon regularly in preparing and
prosecuting patent applications in a variety of art fields, including mechanical,
electro-mechanical, semiconductor, optical, software and business arts. In
addition, he has performed numerous patentability studies, prepared many patent
infringement and validity opinions and prepared various briefs for patent and
trademark litigation. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Morgan spent almost seven
years working as a structural/project engineer with Raytheon Engineers &
Constructors (now part of Washington Group International) in several groups dedicated
to the fossil fuel power generating industry.
