Patricia Giavara

Patricia has 21 years of manufacturing experience in Process Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Line Leadership, and Engineering and Plant Manager positions. She graduated with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1983. Patricia has successfully led many Process Yield Improvement Projects, Quality Systems Implementations, and Defect Problem-Solving Teams. She has worked at several major manufacturing sites in industries including paper, glass & ceramics, and telecommunications. Patricia joined VMEC in January 2003 and works from a home office in East Montpelier. She leads VMEC's Defense Manufacturing Supply Chain initiative and is also leading the development of VMEC's new Growth Services offerings - helping companies to grow their businesses by creating, selecting and developing new products and services with market pull. VMEC's new product offerings in this area include Lean Product Development and Eureka! Winning Ways.
