Susan Mazza began her career in the financial services industry in 1980 in Boston, continuing to work at various institutions in Massachussetts, Connecticut and Vermont until 1998, when she started her work for the SBA in the Montpelier District Office. Her background includes a wide variety of positions across the financial services spectrum ranging from commercial lending and branch management, to internal audit, cash management, and product management. She currently spends her time reviewing loan packages, providing information/training to lenders/economic development partners, as well as working directly with small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. She is also the designated District International Trade Officer for Vermont. Susan works with small businesses, entrepreneurs, lenders and other resources partners throughout Vermont. Mazza earned a B.F.A. from Syracuse University, an M.B.A. from Babson College, and is a graduate of the New England School of Banking at Williams College.
