Small Business, Entrepreneurship, and Financing - a Few Realities
Starting a business is exciting and full of opportunities; however, challenges are bound to surface along the way. A new idea or product has its own set of challenges. During the talk we will have a realistic discussion about approaching a lender to help get your business off the ground. What will the lender want to know about your idea and/or product? What can you do to mitigate what the lender sees as risks? We will also provide ideas on how best to communicate your plan. We'll discuss availability of many local resources including those online. We will also share a few "war stories" of real businesses and what they've done to meet their challenges.
