Understanding Patent Claims
Tony Gangemi will be presenting on several important points to consider in understanding patent claims. These will include the statutory requirements of claims, the parts of claims, the types of claims, independent vs. dependent claims and determining scope of claim coverage. He will also be covering basic and preliminary infringement analysis, i.e., does one's claims infringe a particular claim in another patent? Also, he will discuss how to design your claims around things that have already been claimed in other patents.
